Shibori Shirt ~ Solmuvärjätty T-paita

So this is my first experiment with the tie dye technique... or any dye technique for that matter. I have especially admired the Japanese style called shibori and decided to try something like that myself. I was doing my regular grocery shopping at the store and noticed some white t-shirts on sale rack, so I scooped couple of those along a couple bottles of fabric dye. Unfortunately have not found yet the proper mordant for this brand of dye, so I will have to wait to wash them after I have been able to find it and treat my dye project with it.
The first image is my inspiration and the second one is my plain shirt picture, not as fancy modeling, but hey, the dogs refuse to model for me and selfies make even worse representation. ;)

Tähän mennessä tämä on ainoa kokemukseni solmuvärjätyn tekniikan tiimoilta... tai oikeastaan minkä tahansa värjäyksen tiimoilta. Olen jo pitkään ihaillut japanilaista shibori tekniikkaa ja halusin kokeilla sitä itsekkin. Normi ruokaostosreissullani huomasin kaupan alerekillä valkoisia t-paitoja ja päätin ne siitä kaapata mukaani parin eri kangasvärin ohella. Valitettavasti en ole vielä löytänyt sopivaa kiinnikettä tälle kyseiselle värille, joten käyttöön otto odottaa vielä käsittelyä värin pysymiseksi.
Ensimmäinen kuvani on innoitukseni tähän kyseiseen projektiin ja alhaalla on minun versioni... hieman karu kuva, mutta koska koirat edelleen kieltäytyvät olemasta mannekiineja enkä ole tyytyväinen selfie kuviin, niin näillä eväillä mennään. ;)
